The Focusing Institute certifies persons having completed an authorized training program such as this one, as a Certified Focusing Professional or Focusing Oriented Psychotherapist. Through four Core Courses of the certification program you will have additional training in finding & using your felt sense to help yourself and others. Additional supervision of therapeutic work are required for specialization as a Focusing Oriented Psychotherapist.

The entire process of learning the depth of the Focusing process can take a year and a half, but most often takes longer depending on your circumstances. You may begin this professional training only after you have mastered Focusing for yourself.  This prerequisite is typically satisfied after having taken Core Units 1, 2 & 3 of Focusing training with me or with another Certified Focusing Professional.
