Instead of trying to make it sync with iTunes why not put the effort into coming up with something BETTER than iTunes on Windows? You didn't see Steve Jobs trying to make the iPod sync with WinAmp. This is why Palm will become the next Amiga while Droid will become Windows...
Who buys a product because of an ad anymore? I read plenty of reviews before I buy anything over $20, and I just don't buy things I don't have a need for. Good products sell themselves and ads can't 'create a need' for a product the way they used to with past generations. In fact many young people purposely avoid any product that advertises and marketers know this. Just go to any game submission and read how much love there is for Dragonage. Why help pay for advertising that I disliked seeing in the first place?

I just had this mental flash of an ISP owned by a kid from 4chan, redirecting every 8th page request to a rickroll.
Exactly. The attitude of most WSJ writers is very professional. It is true that it has an extreme conservative and free market tilt but they are up front about it.What I don't see on the WSJ is a lot of name calling (wingnuts, tea-baggers, etc.) and whining. Most of the articles offer constructive criticism for Obama and other politicians the writers disagree with.Unfortunately some WSJ commenters are not as civil and resort to the name calling just like their liberal counterparts.!

The US has rule of law and due process; China doesn't even allow its own criminology/criminal justice students to study its own system, thus they come to our schools. We have like 15 phd candidates from China, and they can't actually study China for their theses because there's simply no reputable or consistent data from the government. Slam the US all you want, it's one of maybe only 20 countries in the world that has rule of law and one of even fewer that allows very open access for research and scrutiny (thus giving critics more ammunition).Have fun believing in the official crime/recidivism rates of a one-party control-freak government, though...

Re: "Just one example (for now): in which of Peratt's papers, on simulations of galaxy formation, is a description of how gravity is simulated to be found?"A far better question is why don't you just ask him directly?
