Also, I hate the new trend of DLC included in the collector's edition. Just burn that to the disc for petes sakes. The content has no collectors value since it's tied to the console/service. Which one day, both will be gone and the content no longer usable.Metal Boxes - Should be mandatory for collector's editionsSoundtracks, artwork, behind the scenes footage - Always a plus, takes next to no effort to include since the stuff is mostly on it's own as the game gets made anywayHard cover (color of course. Hell no game manual should be black/white in this day and age) manuals - greatAnd I absolutely love novelty peripherals (particularly the ones to give you the arcade experience): http://sites.google.com/site/neotechni/ (my controller collection)Special edition consoles - a dick move. Dont do it. This just pissed everyone off who already owns one.Working Designs was the master of collector's editions. Shame they dont exist anymore...Growlanser Generations came with an awesome watch.Lunar 2 came with a metal pendantMost of their games came with hard cover manuals, soundtracks, and translation notes.
what they really can't handle: - more than one hero (especially if the "other" heroes aren't central characters) - not an origin story - a plot different from (not more complicated than, just different from) one of Snidely Whiplash's more dastardly schemes - two iconic and long-separated events in a character's history not happening in the first movie - (not universal, but often): Not having the supposedly good-at-heart hero kill people, or do things to kill people followed by a "but he's okay, folks!" shot of should-be-dead guys crawling away - keeping the villain alive

There's a couple in there that are interesting but the rest is just rehash of the same style (which is awesome looking). Everything in moderation!?

It's true this type of art is very superficial. I used to reproduce photographs in art class but it got boring very quickly. Reproducing photographs is an excellent start for beginning artists, like how musicians practice the scales or play an already created song.I think the guys that I truly respect are the comic book artists and artist that can draw well but also create something original. I like Jack Kirby, Jim Lee, Alvin Lee, John Buscema. If you look for those guy's speed drawing videos in real time. It's really amazing.

Dugg for kick man. I wasn't sure anyone remembered that game. I used to play that all the time on C64. Graphically, it was pretty good for the time.I had the most fun though when pacman started showing up.

So why did we keep so many of the traditions from the pagan holiday? Riddle me that one.
