Christmas, easter, april fools, Halloween, all have pagan roots, but that makes them no less legitimate catholic holidays. You know they had temples, religious texts, worship, faith and god before Christianity right? Does that invalidate churches, the Bible, worship and faith as well?Hell, the old testament is considered holy scripture (the Tanakh) in Judaism, and the new testament is considered holy scripture by Islam (as the teachings of the prophet Jesus), does it invalidate the entire religion?There are historical reasons why these holidays were co opted, mostly having to do with helping to sell catholicism to the masses, but that does not void the holidays themselves. The Nazis merely tried to do the same, IE to co opt Christmas as their own, the better to sell their philosophy to the masses (EDIT: this does not excuse the practice of course, and I had similar thoughts about the soviets removing Santa Claus from their culture to replace them with, umm, Father frost I believe. But in all honesty the Nazis have done many things much worse than trying to tie Nazi symbols to Christmas).Note that expert has ever contested the pagan origins of the Christmas holiday, a holiday held on or near the winter solstice (why it moved from dec 21st to 25th i'm not sure, perhaps Wikipedia can help) so if confirmation is that important to you, here it is. Hey dummies, you don't want the pets or other paid for stuff, it's called don't buy it, Blizzard has clearly stated that any for sale items will not affect in game play they are just for fun. As for expansions, these people put millions into development for massive expansions that make the game bigger and more exciting with so much content it eclipses so many other games and lore that is better then most books, so if yea don't play STFU and go away the rest of us oh yeah, all 12 MILLION of us enjoy it.
