Wrong tense, since the show has been on for some time. But that's pretty much the show in a nutshell. And not far from the mark. It's pretty much true for universities as well. And office jobs. Not sure about blue collar. All my blue collar jobs were relatively isolated where I only saw other workers at shift change..

Anybody who believes this story is an idiot. Anybody who wants food can get it somewhere. I've worked with homeless shelters and prison ministries. I know what's out there. And I know how cunning people can be when it comes to getting what they need. The few people who aren't getting what they need are either mental ill or willfully self-destructive. Whatever methodology was used in coming up with this statistic is bogus. It is a lie to say that any substantial number of people CAN'T get enough food, much less that 15 percent of people don't. The people who made this claim have an agenda, but honesty is not on that agenda.?
