"The features of electronics keep going up while the prices keep coming down - that is an empirical fact that refutes your argument."WRONGCheck and see how much the DROID is going for today in your area. Now wait a year and see how much the same model is going for. The phone will be almost the exact same hardware model, probably with some software fixes, but for MUCH cheaper. Will it be cheaper in a year's time because the overstuffed it with features? No, it will be cheaper because of the fact that after the initial first to market buyers are burned through, they have to lower the price to get more of a market share for the device. If you don't believe me, look at the iphone already. When it first came out, huge price tag. Now, the price tag isn't so big. (for the phone, not the service)As for IBM, or any other company with a board that has half a brain, financing their customer's purchases, not so much. Most larger companies that offer financing offer it from a bank through their company. I've been dealing with company's such as DELL, HP, IBM, etc for almost 15 years purchasing hardware and software for company's that I work for, read the fine print in that finance agreement. A company personally financing their customer purchases would take way too much capital and tie it up, not allowing for the advancement of the company or research without the company having to be financed via a third party.
That ruined it.

Japan was never an empire, they've always wanted to be, but never succeeded, China, on the other hand, was the biggest empire for the better part of human history while the YURUPEANS were running around yelling sparta and kicking people into wells..
We really have no free will. Emotions, how react to everything, control everything, I mean if you are happy. You cannot be really sad. You will react in those ways. Now we might have free will if you seem to be spontaneous. But then another governing factor is since you are so spontaneous, you are instantly viewed as out there and weird, because you are different from the norm. Once again, that calling you out there and weird could affect you in a way that changes your will. If you are religious you cannot have free will because everything is governed by the higher intellectual being. To have free will it needs to be humanistic in origin and in detail. We are a reactionary species, Not a Free will species.!

in answer to the above yes I did expect people could read more than a few words especially if it gave what I felt was pertinent info such as the meltdown was mostly the govs fault and here is why,. they from Clinton's time and possibly before had an implicit understanding with wall street that if they ever got in trouble they would be bailed out and they have been several times before this last mess. then the gov wanted everyone to own a house so they made laws to that effect using fanny mae and freddy mac to help push the agenda. then activist groups such as acorn got involved and pushed their agenda. So three different groups pushing this mess, the gov and activists, and wall street.

Live action films captured by camera contains motion blur. It looks natural because human eyes work in similar fashion. 3D movies that play at movie frame rate are also rendered with motion blur, this is not difficult to do technically when each frame was rendered at non-real-time.Video game used to not have motion blur at all, so they have to be run at really high fps, much higher than human eye's sample rate in order to look not stuttering. Then for awhile we had fake motion blur, which looks a bit better, but still not natural (sometimes they just look blurry and give you headache). Today I think some console games have really good motion blurs (not sure if they are true motion blur or not, I'm out of touch with latest motion blur rendering techniques). But with those games you won't be able to tell even if they are running at movie frame rate.
