I've seen heart disease and emphysema severely impair and then kill several relatives. I will celebrate when these diseases no longer kill people.
I too have been getting Newsweek for about 30 years. When my subscription runs out next year I will not renew. Too many opinions and not enough news. The magazine look like an advertising supplement. The writing quality is not the same. I think they buy their articles from outside sources. They will be joining all the other magazines that have failed because people don't want to read anymore.

Sorry, but what may seem to us to be a "trivial problem" can mean thousands of hours of coding headaches for programmers, no matter how skilled they are. Then again, some programmers can code up pretty amazing stuff in a few hours with no problem.?
"Facebook was popular way before status updates (that was just in response to Twitter)"That's funny because I remember updating my Facebook status way before anyone gave two ***** about Twitter. In fact, I was informing my mates of "the crazy party last night" before Twitter even existed if my memory serves. If anything I'd say it happened the other way around. |

Of course if every city starts its million man march and all converge on Washington, Washington would force these banks to put back into AIG what they had taketh. But us people are just too busy minding the less important things. And they keep taking and taking. Barack, we know the change you talked about now. It's change for the better... for your campaign donors and lobbyists.

News is news worthy all the time. Moehorn may call it history if he so chooses. I personally loved to hear that Tiger had this little goal to win a trophy in every "playable" continent and now he has done that. Makes me feel like I just might finish bricking out the bbq pit today :o)

Why people still buy their products after knowing this blows my mind.

I'm sorry, but I'm still not seeing the difference here. It's different because they were sold both drugs in one container instead of in two separate ones the had to mix themselves? Big ***** deal.I think you're pretty naive if you think the government gives a ***** about idiot frat guys dying from alcohol poisoning. This is about control and nothing else. For the record, speaking from experience I can tell you right now that some of the worst drunks I've ever seen pounded regular light beet all night. They didn't need caffeine to "keep them awake long enough." The only thing that stopped them from dying was probably the fact they ran out of beer. That said, given the alcohol content of something like sparks, its price tag, and its packaging all compared to your average canned light beer I'm going to say that the supposed danger increase a whole lot of *****. |
