I was there at Web 2.0 Expo. Great to see Jay and Kevin as one of the keynotes (last year it was only Jay). But I think Baratunde Thurston is the best keynote speaker this year.

You got me rocking all down the line. When between a rock and a hard place rough justice will get your rocks off. Send it to me, Angie, and I'll let it loose.Even though it's only rock and roll, I like it.
So why did we keep so many of the traditions from the pagan holiday? Riddle me that one.

Oddly enough., the article didn't reference the rate of civilian suicide. That might an oversight or it might be that rawstory just doesn't think that's the sort of information its readers ought to be burdened with. Too much information is liable to cause you to draw a conclusion other then the one decided for you by your betters..

I fully understand this sentiment and my rational mind supports it. But the notion of Sarah Palin running for Presidential candidacy is so comically powerful that it tempts my curiously. What if she made ground? What if her arguments improved? Though I suspect the onslaught of informed insight and comic interest would doom her chances it might be interesting to see the American public face the challenge of parsing out irrational and destructive platforms from legitimate arguments. That is where the perhaps worthy vaudeville would be - it might even be healthy? (supreme emphasis on the unqualified certainty)I would like to see a female President at some point in America's future but Palin is unfortunately a theatrical clown and village idiot rather then an honest representation of leading American acumen and rational talent. When a female candidate (preferably more then one in addition to Hillary Clinton) will have the courage to step forward we may see the interest in Palin subside as a comic historical anecdote.
