Only slaps us in the face with the reality that hunger is an ECONOMIC issue. We already produce more food than we eat, and we can produce more than we do. Some of this will solve itself as the economy restructures. In either case, it needs to be seen for what it is, economics, not hunger in isolation.
Do you REALLY think there are so many high-weight low bodyfat elite bodybuilder physiques around that it changes the percentages? Have you been to a public space lately? When was the last time you walked through a mall or into a restaurant and saw a bunch of buff people, say, as many as one for every 20 grossly overweight people? Yes, BMI can misidentify the exceedingly rare bodybuilder. No, there aren't enough that it makes BMI an invalid indicator of fatness for populations.
