The only collectors edition that I have ever bought was the halo 3 one, and that was like $130 and it wasn't all that great, except the master chief helmet was cool :)
Interesting. deCode's rival 23andme had announced earlier they will be raising the price from $399 to $499 on November 19.

Seems like an overly complicated alternative to just working from home. And is it me or did someone graft that robot onto a Segway?.
Lets stop and remember something. On 9/11, these guys tried to destroy the values we hold dear as a nation. The simple fact is, that for all the horror, death and destruction on 9/11, it was a pinprick to the vastness of the United States in terms of real damange. The real effect of the attack is not the destruction caused, but how we, as a society, react to it. President Bush seemed to realise this immediately afterward - when he went before the joint session of Congress on 9/12 and made it clear the terrorists were out to destroy our values and our freedoms. But then he lost his way, because the next significant steps he took afterwards was to start warrantless wiretapping, set the stage for suspending habeus corpus, and discard a whole host of other constitutionally protected rights. He helped the terrorists succeed in their aims.On the other hand, when we take these people - some of the most evil people to ever walk the planet - and give them a real trial in a forum where the forum itself (military court) doesn't make guilt or innocence a nearly forgone conclusion, then we send the most effective message possible to ourselves and to the rest of the world that if we can take the worst of the worst and treat them this way, in accordance with our laws, our constitution, and our values, then those values have never been stronger and the terrorists, ultimately, failed on 9/11, That is why we should be doing exactly what Obama proposes.!

i admit this was a standard procedure in yearly physical exam back in grade school for me.. i remember every kid had to take off all the clothes and lined up to see a doctor who would check each kid's ***** and touch his ball. it took place in one of the classrooms in the first floor of the school.. the windows were not covered. other curious kids could see from outside. so 1 male adult, 50 or so naked kids.. too bad the girls were in the next room, i heard from other kids that the female doctor check their breasts as well as their vaginas. note: parents dont usually bring their kids to see the doctor for physical exam because they were poor or simply not educated to know this should be done yearly. so the school offered this for a small fee.?

@SmpleJohnIt's misleading to think of evolution as producing things that are "better". Progress in evolution is a misconception that is made quite often.Evolution is not a process that is somehow guided toward perfection, invincibility or intelligence or any such things. Evolution simply results in creatures that are well enough suited to where they live to survive and reproduce. If you were talking about a bird in an arctic climate or some harsh place, then adaptations leading to better survivability in those climates would be likely, because to live in such a place, surviving in a harsh climate is necessary. For a birds that live in temperate climates that do not result in death from exposure, the selection pressure (through the birds dying from exposure) is minimal, and therefore traits that make a bird hardy do not give it any advantage over others.I must stress, as an aside, the evolution does not work toward perfect. It only results in creatures "good enough" to go on surviving. If a population of creatures in some environment is doing well, chances are they will not evolve to do better. In the case of this new species, we're talking about adaptations that make these birds sexually attractive to only those with their new and different song, as compared to the population of birds that they seem to have learned (incorrectly) the song from. The two populations of birds do not appear to interbreed because, due to their differences in sexual selection, they do not take mates with members of the population with the slightly different song.Since mating does not occur between the two populations of birds, they have established two separate gene pools. Over time, the two groups may end up with traits specialized into different environmental niches -- whatever makes them best at surviving and reproducing in their environment. They may also merge back into a single lineage, for example if the song of the new species becomes similar enough to the parent species that sexual selection is no longer a barrier between their populations.
