Should it? I think not.
@nysus There are things people want to believe in and there are realities - how things actually are. Don't forget that people aren't all dreams and noble desires. There are negatives to the human character. People have thoughts - thoughts of exploiting other, waging wars... and dreams - envious dreams of possessing everything the neighbor has and then some. They have emotions, among which are greed, envy, frustration and doubt. People want to be loved and respected. Same people tend to seek revenge when they're obstructed or disrespected. They turn hostile if their beliefs are challenged. There are people that want to contribute to society and there are those that want to exploit the system. Pretending that there's only one side to humanity or that we are inherently noble is absurd. We're flawed, like everything else inanimate or organic. We have good and bad in us."It takes a special kind of the evolved species to come up with murder, genocide, torture, gang rape, deceit, necrophilia, pedophilia and still be proud of itself... A rat will do a lot of filthy, nasty things, but it will not f*** another dead rat.- George Carlin I suggest you come down to solid earth with the rest of us. An idealist is easy prey to someone determined to exploit. Did it cross my mind that the economy should work fro the human beings? Sure it did. That is exactly why I'm asking of what benefit are demands of a bloated union of a bankrupt company incapable if meeting them? Is bad business better than no business?

“You're saying that if I develop one character and apply it to anything I can be a millionaire? Cool.

she speaks nonsense to morons is more like it.Michelle Bachman truth to power! That is the funniest thing I've heard yet this week! No one with any power listens to her psychotic ravings and none of it is truth. So, wrong and wrong. You fail..
I liked Anthony Michael Hall in his older work (like Breakfast Club) and I've liked what I've seen of his new work (The Dark Knight). The rest is of no interest to me and none of my business.!

This is huge news!! Could potentially mean the transfer of Button to McLaren, to partner Hamilton in the 2010 season - an all-British team!! Drivers lined up for Brawn/Mercedes are Rosberg/Heidfield. Bet Ross Brawn gets a humongous payout for that... wow!!?
I'm digging you down because you didn't even bother to read the second sentence in the ***** article."According to the complaint, on June 22, 2004, Michelle Williams of Lynwood, Illinois, applied for a life insurance policy on her own life and named her mother, plaintiff Kathryn Depratto, as the beneficiary."The victim took out the policy on her OWN life. If you want to argue that insurance companies are rightfully wary of payouts to families of murder victims, fine, but don't try to dump this on the mother. Furthermore, if they wanted to include a provision that voided the policy if the policyholder was murdered, they very well could have included that rule. They didn't, so it's just weaseling at this point. "Insufficient proof" my ass. |

I'm an atheist, but I say "Merry Christmas" and not "Happy Holidays". We can have an anecdote war over "I know a person who..." if you want. The War on Christmas pretty much consists of finding half-a-dozen anecdotes in a country of 300 million and saying it's the return of Hitler, over a national news channel. But if I truly believed that Jesus was the Messiah, I wouldn't give a ***** if you killed me, let alone if someone wanted to push Kwanzaa.
