You don't need "military grade weapons". You need two guys with hunting rifles, and the long range sound thing (not military) doesn't hurt either. It's not like they mowed them down with mounted 50 caliber emplacements, the only thing really "military" going on there was the fact the guards were ex-military and so had the training to use weapons properly.I'd say the U.S. would be fine with a ship that had a few weapons locked up in the captains quarters (or on the bridge in a gun safe) when it docked.
@superkendallI agree with you for the most part. But, one problem here is that a lot of the ports won't allow ships to dock that have guns on board (even if they're locked up) and that's why most ships remain unarmed. That's also why the pirates need very little firepower to take a ship.

I thought this was a website that could actually hack into Chinese gov't websites, not some lame phishing scam. Buried.?
I don't know for sure, but I would guess the "raccoon suit" was also originally based on the tanuki. It says : "After picking up the Super Leaf..." Leaves are related to the tanuki's traditional power to "bakasu" -- transform and trick people. It's probably just two different translation choices or some other minor difference. Not quite on topic, but one I liked was Wario becoming a zombie. |

@orbishThat's too bad. I use Nvidia on all my machines so I've never had a problem with graphics on Linux..but then I use (self-built) desktops as my main machines so I have more options. The only time I've ever had an issue with flash was on 8.04; full-screen flash was quite jumpy. But that was with adobe flash 9. Version 10 works perfectly and actually makes significant use of the graphics card (something that flash wasn't doing before). Hopefully, developers working on the Intel drivers will publish better ones by the time the LTS arrives. The problem with Intel's graphics architecture is that there are too many variations with no real driver standardization and they struggling to make Linux drivers to account for them all. Here's another article that sums up the problem. It was written around the release of 9.04 but clearly it's still relevant as the issue hasn't been completely resolved. http://www.h-online.com/open/features/Ubuntu-9-04- ...

Guys, stop being stupid. He is a troll, trying to argue with him will just make you punch a wall and make him giggle like the pathetic little man he is.Leave him alone and he'll go away.

Side-scrolling shooters and top-down shooters are generally referred to as "shooters". The term originates back from the arcade days.Although these days, "shmup" is generally more acceptable. |
