As a Canadian, what's most confusing to me....is where all that insurance payment money goes? If you're paying hundreds a month, for say...20 years......and then need treatment that gets DENIED....what happened to all that money you were helping the insurance company stockpile? There should at least be a system in place where the company can deny your coverage, but if they do they must reimburse you for all of the payments you made to put towards the cost. Otherwise you might as well skip getting insurance, and just toss $200 into the ocean each month.!
