That's absurd. The government funds all kinds of things that some citizens find immoral. As a citizen, you don't get to pick what your taxes go towards.

“I'm not so sure this statement is true in a large enough market. All China could do is buy more USD, sell more USD, or do nothing. Each of these three choices has a different outcome for us and China gets to chose which of these it will pick. I guess what ruins that statement is that the bank has the option of making the billion they owe you worthless by simply producing a trillion dollars and making that billion insignificant.

Green is ultimately about green. Even if you think carbon is a deadly toxic pollutant, why would you believe giving a world governing body the power to tax and control everything on the planet, and moving production from places with higher environmental standards to places with no environmental standards would do any good for the planet or the vast majority of people on the planet. This scam has hijacked the the environmental moment and has done more to overt real environmental problems and solutions more than anything else. This is a con, quite possibly the biggest and most expensive con ever. This is total control over every aspect of our lives, liberty, and economy. Go read the Copenhagen treaty-- this is a complete takeover of anything and everything on the planet by a dictatorial world government!.
Ahoy, matey!

So what if you bike somewhere, then walk around all day, then bike home? Are you allowed to wear pants between rides or do you have to change into a dress or something?
