They are a propaganda outlet for only 23.5 hours of the day. That's true balance.
Although a free and impartial trial anywhere is near impossible in this case, it still seems like trying them in NYC is the least fair and impartial option. Why isn't that a main criticism? Motion for a change of venue to Hawaii or Alaska or something.

“I said this since forever now. The trust fund crowd showed up, with the mid western, who had money and just killed the city. They want to look street savvy and cool so they buy the look, but really they are just rich kids trying to be the rat pack of past years. New York is now Disney land for rich kids, who want to sound urban while being totally safe! The best part is when you say this, they all get mad. Guess what nobody wants to hang out with your over privileged hungry looking self. Lol dig me down but you know its true.

What an irrelevant piece of ***** rant.?
I really wish Hollywood had done the ACTUAL War of the Worlds story. It would have been so much better. |

Yeah, another idea (and it may be a great one indeed) that'll never come to fruition while the oil and coal lobbies rule the known universe.

China didn't buy dollars out of the goodness of their hearts, or in a bid to take over the USA. They did it in a calculated bid to strengthen the dollar against their currency. This increases their imports into the USA. Based on the USA's disinterest in defaulting on it's bonds, this is a good strategy. Now China is decoupling from the dollar and buying Euros, to strengthen imports to Europe, again this is a good strategy. The strategy is called "beggar your neighbors". The part that pisses me off is that Europe invented the strategy and the USA and Europe are allowing it.

How can it be bad for us to become responsible with our money? To actually save instead of go into debt? To actually spend only what we have? To deny ourselves a little and store up value so that we can invest from our own savings instead of being forced to risk bondage to debt in the hope of future growth? It is the only way to be truly independent. Sure, to transition from an economy run off of debt to an economy run off of savings is going to be painful - we will go through a period where there will not be enough jobs to go around - but in the long run it is best for us and will lead to much more "real" growth, ultimately producing jobs, and stable ones at that. Our current attempts are quick fixes that borrow from the next generation in order to give ourselves a momentary chance to turn things around now. It is a risk that is doomed to fail at this juncture. Let's bite the bullet now, cut back, pay off debts, and build some capital for the next generation instead. I don't care who preaches it to us, be it the Chinese or we the people - it's simply the healthiest path.

I have no idea how you miss that as a referee or a linesman, but that's an absolute disgrace. It couldn't have been any more obvious. |
