Cabbages, I love the fact that your avatar features a woman riding a fully hot rodded V-8 Ford with straight pipes, which is probably louder than any stereo system ive ever heard... but the fact that mostly white people ride around on obnoxiously loud hot-rods and harleys probably means you wouldnt consider them criminals.
Its must be nice to have lots of money for nonsense adventures. It's whiskey... take a trip to "Beverages and More" .. they have lots of it..

Yeah, because 3-mile island was the biggest nuclear accident of our time. A pity that the US Exclusion Zone won't be safe for human resettlement for at least 50 more years. Oh... wait. 3-mile island's safety / containment features WORKED during the meltdown. The station released minimal radiation levels, considering the reactor MELTED ***** DOWN! Also, it's the SINGLE semi-serious commercial nuclear accident in the US. The government/military reactors -- you know, the ones that AREN'T commercially owned / operated -- have had serious accidents / radiation releases far more often. Not to mention the 3-mile island reactors are obsolete - the newer reactors are 100X safer. I'm all for having some government regulation on business, and I'm all for sticking it to corporate entities that are greedy as ***** - but give credit where it's due. The private sector in the US has actually done a pretty bang-up job operating the US nuclear infrastructure.

There's a lot to like with Bing. It's got just the right balance of style and substance and I far prefer the overall design and layout over Google's bare bones, utilitarian approach (especially in terms of Bing's image search). However in the end it boils down to results. And after two week's with Bing, I still find myself stumbling back to Google for relevant search results. And until Microsoft can overcome that, they'll always be a distant second in my book. |
