Wherely (above) suggests "electrofishing" them which actually sounds like a pretty good idea except that you'd have to electrofish the whole lake at once and there is still the chance that a couple of piranha would escape detection and live to procreate, thrive and cause a massive problem with the introduction of yet another non-native species.
