This comment is either going to be -40 or +40, and more likely both at different times. It's very unlikely Mexico can have any real political reform anytime soon. The population is 111 million total, but from that 12 million working age men are living underground in the United States, as illegal aliens. These people can not or do not return to their homeland to vote, so the corrupt politicians remain in power. As they lose popularity, all they need to do to stay in power is... help unfavorable political opponents get over the border. This gives the politicians a larger slice of the shrinking pie. To this end, the Mexico Federal Government prints "Mexican Migrant's Guide" - a comic on how to illegally cross into the US, evade US border patrol. http://www2.eluniversal.com.mx/pls/impreso/noticia ...Official government documents are usually in the native language... that it is a comic speaks volumes to the failure of the domestic public education system, as it is intended for Spanish speakers who cannot read printed Spanish. The one bright side of this "pressure valve" of people fleeing the country is the country is politically non-violent (surprisingly so given the extremes between haves and have-nots). It is a farce... if the US ever returns to enforcing immigration laws, there will be bloody violence on both sides of the border, and a violent leftist revolution in Mexico. But that's probably what it will take to enact real reform, given the status quo. Outside of the capital Mexico City, the countryside population has been collapsing for over a decade, and women make up to 80% of the countryside towns' population.Nothing will change..
Dugg for consistency.!

It's hard to tell if he cheated from the looks of it the ball hit his hand. He may have got his hand in the way to put the ball in the path of his feet but he'd have to react pretty damn fast to do that.Thiery Henry has been playing football for many years now though and he doesn't have a mark against his name despite being on top of English and Spanish football for most of his playing career and representing his country numerous ocassions so I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. This sucks for Ireland but end of the day I doubt Ireland were going to make it very far in the World Cup even if they did get through. Spain vs Brazil looks like the big one come next summer. |
