McCain was a horrible candidate. Why wouldn't there be more negative comments about him? He was scattered and erratic. I mean, suspend his campaign to go to Washington and then not know what is going on in Washington? Pick Palin?Add to that, the author was biased and this study is complete crap.

“i didn't mean to come off to some as saying the nukes were pleasant... I just want to make it clear that it wasn't all hunky dory and this one incident was the worst thing to happen to mankind. It wasn't. Radiation sucks but so does being boiled alive... What made it so scary to the Japanese at the time is that all of a sudden all communication from those cities went blank like they didn't exist and they didn't see it coming as it was only one plane that dropped the bomb which didn't raise a huge alert. Other cities saw the destruction coming in the form of massive amounts of planes and everyone knew what was happening while it was happening.

Buried for the lack of Captain Stabbin.?
The unexpected comedy (or tragedy -- take your pick) is that astrophysicists still don't recognize the shape of this object as a plasma pinch. They'll admit in their textbooks that 99%+ of the universe's visible matter is within the plasma state, and they may not even disagree when you inform them that a plasma will ignore gravity within the presence of an electromagnetic field with only 1% ionization. But when they see *electrical* formations in their cosmic plasmas which look precisely like the thunderbolt which Zeus holds in his hand and the electrical laboratory plasma physics formations we observe within the laboratory, they go into a fit -- as if it has nothing to do with empirical science.http://www.thunderbolts.info/tpod/2004/arch/041004 ...http://www.thunderbolts.info/tpod/2006/arch06/0611 ...So long as astrophysicists refuse to properly model cosmic plasmas to match the observed behavior of plasmas within the laboratory, our understanding of the universe will continue to trail our observations of it.
You can do this from the window too:http://www.flickr.com/photos/gringer/207572988/Some day I'll take a film camera so that I can get pictures of the takeoff and landing.
