Interesting. That makes me really wonder how much credence to pay to these claims about the U.S. vs. China battle.China is without a doubt an up and coming economic powerhouse, but in order for them to truly compete with the United States in the near future (say the next ten years) their rise would have to be positively explosive and America's fall would have to be equally catastrophic.I seriously question on what information they base predictions that go so far out as 2020. A lot can change in a decade. I'd like to know what people predicted the state of global economics would be in 2000 back is 1989 or in 2010 back in 1999 and compare the accuracy of those predictions to reality. I have a feeling this sort of thing is only marginally more accurate that basic guesswork, if that.

Actually I just checked. Air canada puts the flight at 67 minutes. At 40 minutes he was more than halfway to St Johns. If there was a medical concern he should have kept going as he would have been closer to St Johns. A replacement crew shouldn't have remotely factored into that. They could have come on another flight.?
Since no one else seems to think so, I'll say I dugg it for the last line of Seven. Summed up the movie perfectly. And for the "they didn't include" crowd, I submit the last line of Office Space: "*****' ... A." (sorry, the version in my mind doesn't include the last scene with Milton on the beach)

I have plenty of food in the house but I'm too busy simultaneously reading Digg on my computer, watching South Park on my TV, and playing doodle jump on my phone that I just don't have time to get up and throw something in the microwave.
Put it in the air. Oh wait, that's what we do with gas.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yucca_Mountain_nuclea ...This is what we do with the spent fuel now (after reprocessing it many times). Certainly not perfect but a million times safer than fossil fuels. Nuclear energy has its flaws but its much safer and eco friendlier than fossil fuels and more practical than renewable energy on a global scale, at least for right now.
