...that's a huge upside. While 500 isn't within our lifetime, we're a lot more sure about geological conditions 500 years from now instead of 1,000,000 years, thus letting us store stuff in places we know will be somewhat how they are now versus trying to guess how something will be in a million years. 500 years is a blink in geological time.
Seems like making laws against dumping in the ocean might be also a smart idea. Another might be totally phasing out no recyclable plastics including imports and mandatory recycling. In Japan almost everything is recycled since they don't have room for dump/landfills compared to the US. I can see having landfills for organic materials though with multiple purposes as methane collection and composting for producing high quality top soil. There would be time like when building are demolished, computers, and most car where it's tough to separate economically the material for recycling but with laws with incentives for creating recyclable products and fees at sale for nonrecyclable product which would give the recyclables an advantage at the point of sale.These are just a few ideas that could make nasty smelling landfills a thing of the past.

“Being British and having seen Hugh Laurie in lots of stuff, I'd recommend people watch Blackadder, old BBC comedy, Rowan Atkinson stars in it alongside Tony Robinson and Hugh. Shows how far he's come since them days!

Clearly not. Shangri-La was in the the first one..
I remember the training from pre-school that taught us when to call 911 and when not to.This 'kid' is FIFTEEN, he is about six MONTHS from driving a car. He's not a 'kid' and should be treated like a dumbass adult.!

No GPU acceleration in OS X or Linux.Windows GPU acceleration for only these chipsets:ATI Radeon HD 3xxx and 4xxx series, Mobile Radeon HD 4xxx series, select FirePro products, Intel 4 series chipsets, the Broadcom Crystal HD decoder, and most NVIDIA ION and GeForce 8/9/1xx/2xx powered PCs?
Actually, we have pretty damn good conservation policies here. |
