“I was just out in the wind farms (read: industrial complexes) out in Oregon. Thousands of turbines providing half the power of a single small scale natural gas plant, unreliably, for more than twice the price, effecting thousands of acres of prime farm land. The kicker is that they dont even have the proper transition lines to move the power anywhere productive. When the wind gets going, the dams have to power down to keep the system from overloading. The whole thing is just not thought out very well. For alternate energy to do any good we need a better grid.

It seems the media are beginning to pick up on stories like this more often, and proves that there are holes in the safety of aircraft travel. Perhaps the industry can take something out of this and improve health checks on pilots, co-pilots and engineers to ensure a higher standard of safety, and reduce the fatal risks which can borne by human error..
What happened to collegehumor?!

Enlightenment, if your friend had a Windows 64-bit system, he could have used the 32-bit version of IE rather than install 32-bit Firefox. The 32-bit version of IE is actually the default version available through the Windows Start Menu and if there's an IE icon set up on the desktop. You have to go and pick out the 64-bit version of IE specifically to use it. Adobe is very tardy on this issue, but at the same time the majority of Windows 64-bit users continue to use 32-bit IE or Firefox, so unfortunately it hasn't been a priority for Adobe.?
